Open house: Largest construction project in the company's history successfully completed

With a ceremonial opening on October 19, 2024, we successfully completed the largest construction project in company history. To celebrate, the HBC team, HBC’s partners, and the local community enjoyed a well-attended open house event in a perfect setting at our location on Emil-Rathenau-Strasse in Crailsheim. The Mayor of Crailsheim, Dr. Christoph Grimmer, and the President of the Heilbronn-Franken Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Kirsten Hirschmann, also attended our event.

The new building boasts approximately 5,500 square meters of total floor space, distributed across three stories and a basement level – it has allowed us to significantly expand our production capacity. In a modern facility spanning two floors, our mechanical production team manufactures our high-quality control units, batteries and all other mechanical components in-house. The top floor is home to offices and conference rooms.

As part of the project, we also restructured our entire logistics division, including our main warehouse at our location on Emil-Rathenau-Strasse. This restructuring has allowed us to efficiently supply our manufacturing teams in Crailsheim and to provide optimal support to our decentralized production facilities and other HBC locations in Germany and abroad.

At our open house, hundreds of visitors came out in the beautiful fall weather to enjoy exciting tours of our company and gain detailed insight into our enormous vertical range of manufacture; they were able to try out a range of innovative new products for themselves and learn about the attractive jobs and traineeships we offer. The day was rounded off by a delicious and extensive catering service and a packed schedule of events for kids and teens that families thoroughly enjoyed. On the whole, the event was a resounding success; it was a wonderful day that we will remember fondly for a long time to come.
